October Lunar Pauses
How to work with the Void of Course Moon dates in October 2026
All times are AEDT (Sydney time)
The Void of Course Moon is one of those lunar rhythms that, once you know it, you'll want to check before every important decision, launch, or client conversation. If you're new to this concept, head over to the August blog first where I cover exactly what a Void of Course Moon is and why it matters for your business.
October has quite a few of these windows, so I've listed them all below with a simple guide on what to focus on and what to hold off on during each one.
Fri 2nd Oct, 12.42pm to Sat 3rd Oct, 5.54am
A Friday afternoon into Saturday morning window. Ease into the weekend, rest, and reflect. This one overlaps with Venus stationing retrograde in Scorpio later on Saturday 3rd, so there's a double invitation to pause rather than push. Hold off on launching anything new or sending important proposals until Saturday morning.
Sun 4th Oct, 1.08am to Mon 5th Oct, 9.54am
This one runs throughout Sunday into Monday morning. A good Sunday for journalling, reviewing, and pottering rather than planning your week ahead. Let Monday properly begin before you send anything significant or make business decisions.
Tue 6th Oct, 9.22pm to Wed 7th Oct, 1.53pm
A Tuesday night into Wednesday afternoon window. Tuesday evening is a natural wrap-up time rather than a late push. Wednesday morning meetings or decisions are best held until after 1.53pm AEDT.
Thur 8th Oct, 5.56am to Fri 9th Oct, 7.13pm
This is the longest window of the month, running nearly a day and a half. Thursday morning through to Friday evening. Give yourself permission to slow down across these two days. Deep work, creative thinking, and admin that doesn't require decisions are all well supported here. Save any pitches, proposals, or launches for after Friday 7.13pm.
Sun 11th Oct, 10.07am to Mon 12th Oct, 2.24am
Sunday through to very early Monday. A gentle Sunday is supported here. If you like to plan and prep your week on Sunday evenings, wait until Monday morning when the Moon is moving again.
Tue 13th Oct, 7.46pm to Wed 14th Oct, 12pm
Tuesday evening into Wednesday midday. A good Tuesday night for rest and early nights rather than late working sessions. Wednesday's energy picks back up after noon.
Mon 19th Oct, 3.12am to 12.39pm
A Monday morning window that clears by midday. Let Monday morning be slow and observational. Afternoon is when the week properly begins.
Fri 23rd Oct, 2.31pm to Sat 24th Oct, 6.50am
Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. A natural end-of-week wind down. A lovely window for reflection, reviewing what landed well during the week, and early Saturday ease before the energy picks up again.
Mon 26th Oct, 9.59am to 10.34am
A very brief window. I note this one mainly because it's around the time I send my newsletter each week. If you follow my newsletter, you'll notice it arrives just outside this window for that reason.
Wed 28th Oct, 1.51am to 12.02pm
Wednesday morning through to midday. Another slow morning invitation. Wednesday afternoons tend to carry better momentum for outreach and decisions.
Fri 30th Oct, 8.43am to 1.06pm
Friday morning into early afternoon. A gentle close to the working week before the weekend. Save any significant sends or decisions for after 1.06pm.
A note on working with these windows
The Void of Course Moon isn't about fear or restriction. It's an invitation to work with the lunar rhythm rather than against it. Things initiated during these windows tend to either not come to fruition or take an unexpected direction. That doesn't mean life stops, it means you become more intentional about what you start.
If working with the lunar rhythm is starting to feel like a natural strategy for your business, your business astrology chart can take that even further. The Business Direction Blueprint is a single session where we look at both your business and personal charts, so you leave with a clear picture of your direction, your soul clients and exactly what your business is here to do.
