There was a time when I measured myself through other people’s expectations.
I wanted to be liked. Accepted. Seen - but not too seen.
I was organised, creative and capable - yet private to the point of self-sabotage.
I avoided conflict.
I feared failing so deeply that sometimes I didn’t begin at all.
I put others first and told myself it was kindness, while quietly abandoning my own needs.
In 2021, I asked myself a question that shifted everything:
If money wasn’t an issue and failure wasn’t possible - what would I choose?
The answer was simple… and confronting.
To trust myself.
To create work that felt aligned.
To build sustainable income without burnout.
To travel Australia.
To live a life that actually felt like mine.
I stopped forcing productivity to look like busyness.
I stopped letting louder voices override my own knowing.
I learned that aligned action happens in rhythm - not pressure.
I wouldn’t change a thing about where I’ve been.
Every version of me led me here.
I’m not perfect.
But I am grounded.
And I trust myself.
