and this is how I got to where I am right now….

I haven’t always embraced my intuitive abilities and my Pisces Sun.

I’ve always worked for others with a deep knowing that working for myself was what really called me in. It was the fear of failure and success that kept me from trusting myself.

After many years of burnout and knowing there was so much more for me I started to manifest. I did a manifestation course which started this journey of self-discovery and creating the life I truly felt alive for. This led to Astrology and there was an instant ‘click’ - like I already knew this information and just needed to remember it.

The journey of learning (remembering) Astrology began. I had my chart read, I did courses, read books and just devoured what I could as I just knew I had found ‘me’.

In 2023 my hubby and I set the date for our big lap of Australia in 2024. This was something I had manifested only 2 years prior. I had also asked the universe to have my own business support me so I could realise the dream of working for myself. This came in August 2023 when I had the opportunity to take on contract work that meant I could leave employment and work for myself. This amazing opportunity with Madeit continues to this day.

None of this happened without lots of doubt and fear about ‘what if’ - what if it didn’t work out. What if we couldn’t afford to travel for the full 12 months (we actually travelled for 16 months - so we were OK), what if I made the wrong decision. All the while I continued my handmade artisan business - creating and selling while travelling Australia.

Then in November 2024, after years of learning Astrology, doing business courses, healing and energy sessions, mentoring and really learning to come home to myself I made the decision to pivot my business.

How do you go from selling crochet baskets to offering birth chart readings?

With a lot of trust (in yourself & the universe) and mentoring I added birth chart readings to my business. Of course, I was worried if my customers and community on socials would ‘understand’ what I was doing but it felt so right I couldn't ignore it. I just kept going. They were all on the same path in their own way. Wanting more, knowing there was more for them and trusting in the next steps they were meant to take.

Stepping fully into my Leo Moon and making bold moves really gave my emotional world the safety and nurturing it needed. With a Capricorn Rising I had a goal - all Capricorns love a goal but it needs to be something they really desire - and I just kept following the nudges and my intuition. I was learning to trust in myself.
